- 1 jar artichokes in brine/water (170g) about 15 pieces – quartered
- frying oil
Flour Mixture
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dill
- 1 tablespoon crushed nori
Batter
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch turmeric
- 1 tablespoon pickle juice
- 1 tablespoon caper brine (or sub with more pickle juice)
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 3/4 cup sparkling water
